Who we are
Christina Dian Hayu Kurniawati, Co-founder & Managing Director
Dian is Information Technology engineer and sustainable development specialist with 15 years of experience designing and managing technology-for-development projects in Southeast Asia. She has expertise at leading multi-stakeholder initiatives to improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers and fishers.
She began her career on the team that built the internal management system for Chevron before she dedicated her work to the climate sector. Her experience includes holding roles at leading climate and sustainability firms like Asia Carbon Indonesia and South Pole, managing agritech projects with ICCO Cooperation, and managing climate-smart agriculture and agroforestry with Stichting Fairfood Netherlands. Dian has been involved in climate projects in the energy, industrial, forestry, and agricultural sectors for commodities like cacao, coffee, coconut, pepper, and tobacco.
Her experience includes collaboration with government bodies and international donors like the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), International Finance Corporation (IFC), Netherlands Space Office, Netherlands Enterprise Agency, and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
